Dynamite Allstars Takes Over Wizard's Game

Dec 15th, 2017

Watch out Washington Wizard Girls , Dynamite Cheer is  taking over.

Last Wednesday evening Dynamite Tumbling and Cheer joined forces with Dynamite Gymnastics, The Agility Zone and Bolt Parkour as they took over the court for for the Washington Wizards VS. Memphis Grizzlies Halftime Show.

The girls arrived by cars, bus and metro. By 6:15pm a hoard of red, white and yellow flagged bows could be seen, right outside the gates to the west entrance of the legendary Verizon Center. Each of the girls have volunteered extra time in the gym for the opportunity to participate in this half time show. For many athletes this will be as closest they will get to a professional cheerleading performance.

The group of XX girls performed a 5mn routine packed with tucks, handsprings , jumps and stunts; the girls performed a variety of a skills and tricks  with no protection but the confidence in their teachings and their sparkly mesh uniforms.
Not a single stunt fell nor did any athlete get hurt.

Gym Director Patrice Cotman and the Coaches Adrienne , Kyla, Sarah and Paul accompanied the girls for the evening. This is the gym's X time bringing a group of athletes to the Wizards Half-Time Show. The coaches have also dedicated extra hours in the gym to choreograph the routine and prep the girls for the halftime show. Dynamite Allstars "made it possible for me to yell at an NBA player 'THAT WAS MY DAUGHTER IN THE 1/2 TIME SHOW!!' - Holland LaFalacia Parent of Athlete

Dynamite Allstars is proud to work with the Washington Wizards in efforts to motivate athletes and encourage careers in the professional sports industry.

Unicorn Squad Debut at Silver Spring Thanksgiving Parade

Dec 1 , 2017

Thanksgiviing is just one of the few holidays that these dedicated athletes
ABC 7 Meteorologist Brian van de Graaff served as Master of Ceremonies for this year's Downtown Silver Spring Thanksgiving Parade.
The parade includes a variety of gigantic balloons, marching bands, floats , local celebrities and of course the Dynamite Allstars Cheerleaders.

While many of the girls were on holiday and unable to commit any extra time to practicing there were a few who volunteered time away from their vacation to participate in the parade.

As the weather begins to change the girls could no longer sport their practice attire for performance gear. Instead they debuted the newest fashion in Dynamite Apparel. White long sleeved shirts with the title "Unicorn Squad" and bright colored tu-tus over black leggings.

The Silver Spring Thanksgiving Parade is a Live televised event on News Channel 8.
